Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
We had an fantastic, positive experience dealing with Mountain View Building Supplies. They were polite, helpful and efficient both during the purchasing and return stages of our project. From the office to the yard staff everything went like clockwork and we will certainly use them again. Thanks.

Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
I have used Mountain View Building Materials for supplying decking products for my small business and other materials for my personal projects for the past 3 or 4 years. I am someone who values honesty, open communication and OTP in dealings with businesses. Mountain View consistently lives up to my expectations and more often than not, exceeds them. Everyone that works here is a top notch individual, always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you get the best product and outcome from your projects. Earlier in the summer i did an addition to a composite deck that was 10 years old and heavily sun faded (usually this means the product is discontinued). I brought a piece to Mountain View in hopes of matching and they managed to match it perfectly!! The clients were ecstatic with the outcome and i have Mountain View to thank for that.

More recently, the wife and I have been building our own house. I usually talk with Clare about products and this time we wanted to use a "Newer" siding product that i had no experience with. Clare made the whole process easy (i just gave her the plans and she did the material takeoff). She even got us a killer deal on that product. I made a ton of changes to the design of the building an Clare was super accommodating with the changes and quickly made new quotes for us. While the whole staff at Mountain View is awesome, i prefer and look forward to talking to Clare!

If you decide to get delivery, you will most likely get to meet Pierre. That man is a wizard with his boom truck!

  Thanks Mountain View!

Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
Earlier this year I started researching composite deck materials for a planned two tier backyard deck at our new home. I stumbled upon a product made by Deckorators called the Voyage line. This is a unique product which is a mineral based product that is 100% waterproof, had virtually no thermal expansion and contraction and it's design has built in extra traction. We have found that this summer the deck was still cool enough to walk on with bare feet when it was plus 30 in direct sunlight. It also offers outstanding grip when it is wet, unlike a lot of other composite brands out there. This product is quite a bit lighter than normal composite which really helps on the fascia as the tiny hidden screws that hold composite can pull through on other brands simply because of the weight and thermal expansion and contraction that happens.

Justin was amazing to deal with right from the start. Due to covid craziness this took a while to get but the wait was worth it. My project kept evolving and Mountain View was more than willing to accommodate my needs. They even assured me that any extra material I purchased would be returnable with no restocking fees, which was much appreciated.

I wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere for your Building material needs...

I used MountainView for my recent deck project and they were great. Easy to deal with and helped me to make informed decisions. Out of all the lumber I got, almost everything was in great shape. Much better than that big box store garbage!

Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
This is a genuine no nonsense review. We have no clue about decks or materials, and spent literally two weeks dealing with three companies in Calgary trying to just get some simple information and pricing.

We were getting the runaround, and would get a price over the phone, but once it was time to come in would be completely different.

I found Justin and the team at Mountainview and what a difference. They were patient, attentive, made recommendations, and were excellent to deal with. No issues or surprises from these guys. Moving forward I'm only recommending this company to family and friends and will not be going anywhere else I the future.

Take the drive just outside the city and see what I mean.

Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
We recently went to Mountain View Building Materials to get material for our upcoming home renovations and our salesman was amazing to deal with! Justin was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and he got our product incredibly fast despite the current supply chain issues. We got the product home and looked it over and it all looks amazing. Can't wait to get it installed. Cannot recommend Justin and his team enough!

Google Review for Mountain View Building Materials
I have had an account with Mountain View for over 5 years. Each dealing they exceed my expectations. I have used their pick up and delivery service for years and each time I find the quality of lumber and service amazing with every employee being fun and easy to deal with. The sales team is knowledgeable in all their products which is a big help in managing the cost and efficiency of any project. I’ve gone to other suppliers for the last few pieces of jobs and found that the quality is not even close in comparison to Mountain View.
