LUMBER & PLYWOOD

Our regularly stocked domestic softwood lumber includes Spruce, Cedar, and Douglas Fir. Spruce being most commonly employed for framing projects where the spruce lumber will be protected from the elements, and other various general construction projects. We stock and sell a higher grade of spruce than most other retail lumber outfits, as we believe it is our responsibility keep as much lumber out of the landfill sites as possible. We stock an Appearance Grade Spruce which means less pieces per lift are culled, and almost every piece is useable. We believe that once the lumber is harvested and processed, it should be used and not wasted.

Cedar is a Canadian Standard, and is perfect for outdoor endeavors such as decks, fences, pergolas, gazebo’s, Arbors, retaining walls and more. Grades we stock include Construction Grade 2x4 and 2x6 most typically used in fencing applications as it is graded for Good one Face, meaning that the face you see is good, while the other sides that are hidden during fence construction may have some aesthetic defects. 4 square 2x4 through 2x10 is premium grade Cedar, Good on all faces. Smooth one side two edges (S1S2E) commonly used for fence boards, trims, and fascia. This product is made by splitting 2” material with a band saw, that may have aesthetic defects on the smooth faces, thus leaving the rough face with minimal defects. S1S2E product is ALWAYS graded for Rough Face Use. Lastly we stock Rough Sawn Cedar Timbers, 4x6, 6x6, & 8x8.

Our selection also extends to Douglas Fir boards and Timbers, in both Vertical Grain and mixed grain, Free of Heart Centers, and Boxed Heart Centers. In stock at all times you will find, 2x4 through 2x12 Rough Sawn Appearance Grade Fir, and timbers in all dimensions from 4x4 through 12x12 Rough Sawn Appearance Grade Fir. Suitable for interior finishing, as well as interchangeable for Cedar in exterior applications, Douglas Fir is recognized for its adaptability in almost all applications, and has become a highly popular choice, due to its availability and affordability.

Our in stock plywood selection encompasses Standard and Select grades of Spruce, as well as Fir in Good One Side (G1S), Standard & Select tongue and groove (T&G). We also supply OSB (Oriented Strand Board), an excellent material for interior or exterior sheathing applications. Regularly stocked widths include:
